\"\"Vorig jaar bracht de Stichting Music Herveld met veel succes de musical\u00a0Bring my love to Poland<\/em>\u00a0op de planken. In de tweede wereldoorlog speelden Poolse parachutisten een belangrijke rol voor het dorp Driel.
\nHet verhaal van de musical begint met de dropping van de 1e Onafhankelijke Poolse Parachutistenbrigade in Driel. En eindigt met de Rode-Kruis-verpleegkundige Cora Baltussen, die een stervende Poolse soldaat in haar armen houdt, die zegt:\u00a0Bring my love to Poland<\/em>.
\nVan dit ontroerende muziektheater zijn video-opnamen gemaakt en nu brengt de Blije Kerk Driel deze film op groot scherm op zaterdagavond 25 november in de katholieke kerk in Driel.
\nDe film is geschikt voor jongeren en volwassenen. De film begint om 19.00 uur, en duurt ongeveer 2 uur. De toegang is gratis; na afloop deurcollecte.
\nAchter in de kerk is er een permanente tentoonstelling over die tijd.\u00a0Bring my love to Poland,<\/em>\u00a0<\/em>geschreven door Samantha Janssen en anderen, is de titel van een muzikaal eerbetoon voor de Poolse soldaten die voor onze vrijheid vochten.<\/p>\n
